    Yeah and here in the US most of us study spanish and then forget all of it a year out of school.

    1. in Switzerland we have 4 languages: Swiss-German, French, Italian and Rhaeto-Romanic!2. He just made once a joke we wouldn’t look that close(in the dressing room) and he just had to laugh, coz he said it in front of the audience.3. Merci is French and means thank you… the swiss people mainly say “Messi” depends where they live.

    and btw, in switzerland, we speak swiss german, french, italian and raetoromanic. english is taught in school but not an official language. have a nice day

    you’re obviously not swiss. the language he speaks is swiss german, which is like a very strong dialect of german (the germans don’t understand the swiss). there might be some french words, but few, since federer did not grow up in the french speaking parts of switzerland.
