I’m so glad you “gave it a chance” like. Nothing beats an original version of the song. Saw Mark and the boys do this many years ago. Long before the Killers were even on the scene.Nothing pisses me off more whenï»¿ folks think newer versions are the dogs in comparison to the original version of a song.Dire Straits are one of my fave bands of all time. Mark Knopfler is a musical genius. The Killers are just doing a copy of what I consider to be one of my fave songs of all time.

Dude this is Dire Straits. The Killers, whilst not a bad band by modern standards aren’t fit to lick their boots.Mark Knopfler is a phenomenon; any crappy garage band can cover this song – it takes a genius to write itï»¿ and perform it with true feeling.
